Small Non-Profits Alliance Terms and Conditions of Membership

These Membership Terms (Terms) govern the application for Basic and Advanced Membership (Membership) of the Small Non-Profits Alliance. It is your responsibility to review these Terms prior to your application for a Membership. By applying for Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and will provide the most recent version on our website.

Throughout these Terms, the terms “Small Non-Profits Alliance”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Small Non-Profits Alliance (a business of Fish Community Solutions Pty Ltd ABN: 43 148 921 715) and its associated entities, and “you” refers to the individual or business purchasing a Membership.

1. Membership Fees, Refund and Cancellation Policy

1.1 The Membership Fee for Advanced Membership is $198 inc. GST paid securely via Paypal.com for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. This is the only method of payment currently available, but users may employ a variety of purchase methods via PayPal including credit card, debit card or linked bank account. All transactions are processed by PayPal.

1.2 The Advanced Membership fee is non-refundable. The Small Non-Profits Alliance may offer a transfer of membership or credit in special circumstances on a case-by-case basis but is not guaranteed. Application for transfer must be sent in writing to members@smallnonprofits.com.au and will be responded to in writing.

1.3 We reserve the right to change Membership rates at any time, and current fees will be clearly displayed at the time of transaction. Fee increase or decrease are not retrospective and no refund of fee difference will be offered.

1.4 The minimum commitment is 12 months from initial joining date. Your fees are non-refundable if you wish to cancel your membership early.

1.5 As an Advanced Member you have access to a range of member benefits which will change from time to time.

2. Privacy

2.1 Personal Information provided by you during the Basic and Advanced Membership application process and throughout the duration of your Membership will be held and dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our Website.

2.2. Without limiting our Privacy Policy, you consent to:

2.2.1 Your identifying details being made accessible to other Members on our Website; and 2.2.2 Receiving commercial emails from us and our approved third-party providers. You may opt-out of emails by logging into your account settings and editing your preferences, or by notifying us directly.

3. Limitation of Liability

3.1. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions and warranties relating to your Membership.

3.2. Where our liability cannot be excluded, such as in relation to Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or other prescribed terms under legislation, our liability for breach is limited to the Membership Fees paid by you.
